We are in the third week of the book of Proverbs in our series titled, “The Beginning of Wisdom.” God consistently offers us his wisdom through scripture, his Spirit, and through other believers. Our posture as his children is to listen intently and align our lives with his wisdom. Proverbs gives wisdom on a variety of subjects because this wisdom is passed down from generation to generation. We have godly wisdom today as a result of thousands of years of people following Jesus. Each generation has learned from our rabbi, Jesus, who is always teaching.
