Call to Worship
Come, let us celebrate the forgiving, reconciling love of God.
For once we were lost and felt so far away;
now we have been found and welcomed home.
Know that God’s love is lavished upon you forever.
We rejoice at the news of forgiveness and hope!
Come, let us celebrate and praise the God of Love.
AMEN!

Declaration of Trust & God's Greeting
People of Jesus Christ, in whom are you trusting?
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Grace, mercy and peace to you
in the name of the father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit
Amen.
"Arise, My Soul, Arise" (arr. Indelible Grace, Kevin Twit/Charles Wesley, 1742)
Lyrics Below
Arise, my soul, arise, shake off your guilty fears
the bleeding sacrifice on my behalf appears
Before the throne my surety stands
before the throne my surety stands
My name is written on his hands
Chorus
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Shake off your guilty fears and rise
He ever lives above for me to intercede
his all-redeeming love, his precious blood to plead
His blood atoned for every race
his blood atoned for every race
and sprinkles now the throne of grace
Chorus
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Shake off your guilty fears and rise
Five bleeding wounds he bears, received on Calvary
they pour effectual prayers, they strongly plead for me
Forgive him, O forgive, they cry
Forgive him, O forgive, they cry
don't let that ransomed sinner die
Chorus
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Arise (arise) arise (arise); Arise, my soul, arise
Shake off your guilty fears and rise
My God is reconciled, his pard'ning voice I hear
he owns me for his child, I can no longer fear
With confidence I now draw nigh
with confidence I now draw nigh
and Father, Abba Father cry

Prayer of Confession
Words of Assurance (Romans 5:1-2)
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
[Accept God's forgiveness.]
Sharing Christ's Peace
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand." (Romans 5:1-2)
Because God has given us his peace, we are invited to share the peace of Christ with others. Whether digitally through a text message or by turning to someone next to you, share the peace of Christ now with the words: "The peace of Christ be with you!" If you are on the receiving end of these words, you are invited to reply, "And also with you."
The Peace of Christ be with you.
And also with you!
A life of generosity, for all who know Christ, means the opportunity to draw closer to God, now and in eternity. It means joy, a fulfilled heart, and the potential to store up treasures in heaven. Once you take hold of it, once you begin to feel the change generosity brings into your life, you will feel a strong calling to share the message with others.
