Declaration of Trust & God's Greeting
People of Jesus Christ, in whom are you trusting?
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Grace, mercy and peace to you
in the name of the father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit
"O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing"
Hear me, Lord, and answer me,
for I am poor and needy.
Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;
save your servant who trusts in you.
You are my God; have mercy on me, Lord.
Prayer of Confession
Almighty and Loving God,
Our sins can be easy to hide from others,
and we have become masters at hiding our sins from ourselves.
We tell ourselves that our daily pattern of sin is normal—even okay.
We convince ourselves that we have not sinned.
But we cannot hide our sins from you.
By the power of the Holy Spirit,
reveal to us the depth of our sinfulness
so that we may know the depth of your love and grace.
And so we pray with the Psalmist:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.” [silence]
In the name of our crucified and ascended Lord Jesus,
who lives and reigns with you by the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Words of Assurance Psalm 86:15
You Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

Sharing Christ's Peace
Because God has given us his peace, we are invited to share the peace of Christ with others. Whether digitally through a text message or by turning to someone next to you, share the peace of Christ now with the words: "The peace of Christ be with you!" If you are on the receiving end of these words, you are invited to reply, "And also with you."
The Lord on his throne rules over the flood.
The Lord rules from his throne as King forever.
The Lord gives strength to his people.
The Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:10-11 (NIRV)
The Peace of Christ be with you.
And also with you!
A life of generosity, for all who know Christ, means the opportunity to draw closer to God, now and in eternity. It means joy, a fulfilled heart, and the potential to store up treasures in heaven. Once you take hold of it, once you begin to feel the change generosity brings into your life, you will feel a strong calling to share the message with others.

Prayer of Thanksgiving (Psalm 103-unison, aloud)
Since the Lord has now fed our souls at his Table, let us therefore jointly praise his holy name with thanksgiving and everyone say with mouth and heart:
Bless the Lord, O my soul;
and all that is within me, bless his holy name!
Who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
He does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor requite us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear him.
Who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, and will also give us all things with him.
Therefore shall my mouth and heart show forth the praise of the Lord from this time forth forevermore. Amen.
Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away, slain for us - and we remember
the promise made that all who come in faith find forgiveness at the cross.
So we share in this bread of life, and we drink of his sacrifice
as a sign of our bonds of peace around the table of the King.
And so with thankfulness and faith we rise to respond, - and to remember
our call to follow in the steps of Christ as his body here on earth.
As we share in his suffering we proclaim Christ will come again!
And we'll join in the feast of heaven around the table of the King
Benediction based on John 3: 16-17
Just as God’s Word was sent into the world to heal and redeem,
so God sends you into the world this day
to be light and love, healing and hope.
Go now to be light for the world!
And may the grace and peace of God the Creator,
the Redeemer, and the Sustainer come upon you this day
and remain with you always. Amen.
